Hey! I’m writing to share a beauty tip that I think is so important. I found this product that works miracles on my skin. It’s called “Benefit That Gal.” It’s a primer that makes my skin appear brighter and smoother. And it always makes me look ten times more rested that I usually am.

This product comes in a tube – much like a glue stick. It’s pink in color, and after applying directly to skin, the color blends right in with your skin tone. To apply: twist the bottom of the tube until a little bit of the product is sticking out of the top. Take your fingers, and apply with your fingertips to your face – applying the product all over from hairline to chin. (The company suggests that you apply it in an upward motion, which is probably for maximum absorption, but I haven’t noticed that way being any better than applying it directly.) Let sit for two-three minutes, and then apply makeup as you regularly would.

I particularly love this product because you can continue to apply it throughout the day on top of your makeup for a refreshed look and feel. It’s amazing. The ingredients are great as well – nothing harmful or toxic to your skin. It contains raspberry and chamomile, with almond and algae extracts - which help your skin retain it’s natural moisture. Many people have reviewed the product and say it leaves your skin feeling silky. I have to say I agree 100%.

Amazing Tinted Moisturizer for Busy Mommies

Hey guys! Sorry it’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been really busy with promoting “The Chic Moms Guide,” and thanks to you guys it’s going fabulously! I’m going to try and share a tip every week about products I recommend or things to be on the lookout for to help us stay as fabulous as we can.

This week: my favorite tinted moisturizer...

Chic Moms at the Grocery Store

Hi! So the book has officially launched and I think it can help ( or help motivate) moms around the country to be their most fabulous self.

I was in the grocery store today and was in line at checkout, looking at all of the tabloids showing the celebrity star moms looking so trim and beautiful right after they had babies. The woman in front of me made some comments about it. She was a mom of 2 (like I am) and she told me she thought it was totally un-realistic. Of course I agreed and we started talking about my book. I told her a couple of the easy fashion tips- like adding a wrap dress to her wardrobe and finding a haute handbag that suits her body type and that can double as a diaper bag - that these were easy additions that anyone could do to feel chic.

She loved the suggestions and said she would love to buy the book for the other tips-(I hope she does!).
